“Karasu” means “crow” in japanese.

I created this animation during my second year at the Aix en Provence Art School. The idea comes from a documentary I saw explaining how intelligent crows are. They are so smart that the inhabitant of big cities in Japan got a problem with them : the crows still some hangers on balconies to make their nest in the trees or on electric pole. I found funny, interesting, poetic, and chose to illustrate that story.

Drawing is not my favorite thing. I don’t consider myself as a drawer. But I have enjoyed dong this animation and as my website title contain the crow with the hanger as a logo I couldn’t not put this video on my website.
